Objectives:

The aim of the course is to give the participants basic knowledge and skills through theoretical and practical training to use personal protection equipment and to perform safe work at heights and safe rescue from heights in a wind turbine environment.

Content:

Upon completion of the course, delegates will have achieved skills and basic knowledge of:

· The hazards and risks associated with working at heights, specific to wind turbine environment.

· National and global legislation regarding working at heights.

· Personal protective equipment, including identification of standard marking.

· Inspection, service, and storage of personal protective equipment.

· Correct use of personal protective equipment including identification of anchor points and correct ladder conduct.

· Safe use of evacuation devices.

· Safe approach to rescue situations and efficient use of rescue equipment.

Admission Requirements:

• All participating shall be medically fit and hold a valid health certificate
