Purpose:

The purpose of the BTO training is to familiarize participants with the operation of the VESTAS wind turbine control panel. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate authorizing them to operate a wind turbine.

Course Content: 

Participants will learn how to start and stop a wind turbine. They will also be instructed on how to connect a laptop to the nacelle controller, open and use the VestasOnline® Toolkit (VOT) panel, lock and unlock the rotor and blades, and operate the internal crane.

Participation Requirements:

All participants must be in good health and capable of full participation.
